I drove Volvo's SUV warhorse, the XC90 for a week. I asked for it because with a new model on the horizon I wanted to know if the 2013 (but launched in 2002) XC90 can still cut it.
Too right it can. It's a fantastic car. The satnav's crap though.

Hahahaha. I couldn't help myself with that one. Short of naming the actual country it's an obvious clue.
Sorry

Had forgotten about this.
Have been thinking about a SUV to buy.
Now I am kinda diggin' on them.
Especially since the review mentioned the long cargo area, and showed the two-piece tailgate, like a Range Rover or BMW X5... you actually have a small tailgate to sit on, or to load things onto, rather than damaging the painted bumper cover.
Anybody have info on long-term reliability and build quality?
Does it devolve into a rattle trap, or a ride like a broken-down lumber wagon when it gets up there in mileage?
Does it have a known large-component failure risk?
